• Meetup.com has a great selection of local meetups for all kinds of interests, hiking, biking, hardware hacking, games, movies, you name it.
• There are also a number of groups on Facebook, though their search interface for that isn't too great.

  • School of Music events. For the free/dirt cheap concerts, this is the place to look!
  • Theater and Dance events. Wonderful shows from our school of theater and dance.
  • [Rowan After Hours]. Mostly geared at students, but sometimes fun to drop in and see what the young 'uns are up to.
